Another new blog, as the news is out that these two fine releases on Pink n Black Records are soon to hit the record sellers. They represent the first two in the 'Let's Party' series, featuring the artist's extensive back catalogue and a bonus CD of similar material by artists of the time, connected with the principle artist. The liner notes on the Ruth Brown CD are written by Dave Penny, the Clarence Frogman Henry, by myself.....Enjoy!!
So here we are in October. No Hemsby 51 for us this time out, for a number of reasons. In fact regular readers of the Bettajive Review will notice less gig reviews. Fear not gentle reader, we are back on track and out again getting the best out of the rockin' scene.
Next month we will be covering the Rhythm Riot at Camber Sands, and there are one or two interesting interviews upcoming.
You'll see some new pics on the pages as well. Drop us a line anytime if you like what you see. Pic is of Ed Stephenson of the Revolutionaires, playing at Witham, Essex
