The nights are drawing in, and we've just come to the end of a glorious sunny day at the end of a lovely sunny week. But the rockin' is still hot wherever we go, like to the Pyramid Club in Stevenage, Herts most recently, where John Lewis rocked out with his Rock n Roll Trio.
In one mahoosive set, they included country Hank Williams sounds, through to classic Rimshot and Johnny Bach stuff, as well as material from 'Sanity', and 'His Other Side' CDs (reviews you can see on our CD reviews section of the site). Great stuff from the valleys by Mr Lewis, pictured left.
This is a club that's well worth a visit on a Friday night folks, they have some top turns on.
Well they were excellent. Their versions of 'Too Many', 'I Still Miss Someone' and 'Whirlpool' ( a new one on us) were top drawer, and you have got to love 'Thingamajig's great beat. Here's KC Byrd and Larry Tulip in action stage
Look out also for Bettina Scarlett Presents latest Mid Century Market, in December. You can view these events by clicking the links on the flyers.
Speaking of flyers (what a marvellous segue that was, see what I did there?), here's some of Andy Brittan's work, and bottom right you might pick out this very site's logo. Reasonably priced and speedy service, all the details are there folks.
Well readers, that's the latest in Bettajive land. Keep checking the site and our Facebook like page for regular updates.
See you on the dance floor :D
