We've had our wings clipped recently with June's deteriorating hip condition which will hopefully be sorted by the end of November. Dancing has been a bit of a problem for her, but we soldier on. We cannot, after all, miss the Rhythm Riot, in the middle of November at Camber Sands on the south coast of England.
We've seen some good bands since last blog, the Hillbilly sounds of the Del Rio Ramblers, Rock n Roll with the Keytones and Chris Keene & Boola Boola, and rounding off with Country Cattin' who combine Rockabilly with, unsurprisingly, a dollop of Country.
We get to review some top CDs and 45s as well at the Bettajive Review. There are a few more in the reviews section as well.
Now then folks. If you look through the weekender articles, you'll see our review and pics of the Atomic Festival. It set a record for hits on our site and we understand, it's up for a number of awards at the UK Festival Awards.
Please help them by voting for ATOMIC in three categories...
- Best Small Festival
