Pictured to the left is Brett Waters of kickin' trio, The Bullets, who stormed through two corking sets at the Hi Lites Bar in Stevenage, at the Pyramid Rockabilly Club.
Really enjoy seeing this band, musically, they make a tip top din, guitar driven with a ballsy bassline. Check 'em out folks
Ace pair of sets from Esther and her band, we got Jerry Reed, Jerry Lee, Patsy Cline, Janis Martin and Jimmy & Johnny all in the same package.
The Rumble Beat were spot on throughout, a really tight trio, delivering on all levels. It's good to hear an instro track herald the arrival of the main event, and in this case, 'String Boogie' and 'Run Chicken Run' opened first and second sets respectively.
The visit of Esther to the Starfighter, is one of the first female led bands, and there's more to come this year. Keep and eye out on the gig guide
