Since last we posted, the gigs have been a little thin on the ground. New Year's Eve saw the return of Jump Back Boogie, at Witham Public Hall, with the Doggone Honkabillies, pictured left. This was the last time the current line up played together, with guitarist Zach Godden and drummer Clive Crissel leaving for pastures new. Check out the gig guide for the return of the Honkabillies, with new, but old, personnel, if you get the drift.
Taking the stage, down from County Durham, were the Doggone Daddy's. Hang on, another 'Doggone'? Yep, and another good one too.
We'd only seen them within the program of a weekender, like the Rock Ridge Rumble, so it was good to catch them playing two sets in the club environment. If you see this trio around the gig guide, go and see them live. You will not be disappointed.
Have a gander at Our Gallery page as well, we have uploaded some new photos as well from recent events. Soon too, we will be uploading some new interviews, the irons are already in the fire for that :D
If you can't make that one, then the newly launched Memphis Belles club in Mytchett, Surrey, is also running an Atomic heat.
Returning to the title of our blog, and our third birthday, we had a look at our stats over those years. Our traffic is now in the thousands per month, and there are new people finding us all the time. Never a better time to get your club night, weekender or recording reviewed by us, for maximum exposure, and unlike magazines, that exposure usually lasts for over a year. Get in touch for more details, on either Facebook, Twitter, or via the contacts form on the website.
Look forward to seeing you all around, somewhere where the gittuns good. Cheers til then
